Im so excited to finally have some time to sit down and share all the details of my back porch door refresh! I have always dreamed of having a pink door and actually in our farmhouse build I was able to incorporate an interior pink door to our guest bedroom on the main. It was always one of my favorite aspects of the farmhouse interior design.
I felt like our cute little beach cottage could definitely handle a girlie coastal pink door so I decided to start with my rear porch just to test the waters. First step was to find the perfect pink. I spent a little time on Pinterest and before too long I had narrowed down some color choices and was on my way to Sherwin Williams to buy some samples. Just call me the queen of paint samples because I tend to always end up with a garage full of them! I ended up landing on the Sherwin Williams color Coral Perfection. It gave me the exact light pink hue that I was envisioning!

Next up was replacing the door handle set. In my mind I imagined a gorgeous brass style that would vibe with the coastal esthetic I was going for. I was so excited to partner with Delaney Hardware and install one of their newest handle sets! We decided to go with the Bravura 971 in new satin brass. It is one of the most gorgeous exterior door handle sets I have ever seen. It has a gorgeous crystal knob pull on the interior handle so it matched perfectly with all my brass hardware on my interior.
